On March 20, 2016 PR-bureau "Dieslovo" had the press and organizational for the presentation of new airlinks Kyiv-Tehran of the leading Iranian airline of "Mahan Air" organized jointly with the Ukrainian partner -company "UM Air".
By means of new aviation service "Mahan Air" through Tehran opens to the Ukrainian passengers access to 7 Asian airports: to Dubai (United Arab Emirates) to Bangkok (Thailand), New Delhi (India), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou (China).
The first flight from Tehran to Kyiv 70 passengers have arrived on scale board of the Airbus 340-300 capacity of 335 seats, and from Kyiv to Tehran flew 26 passengers.
Flights from Kyiv on new directions through the Tehran airport considerably abbreviate total time of flight as compared to other variants of docking.
"Tehran airport - unique "hub", here the passengers of economy class can get attention and maintenance of business-level", - marked the Chairman of "UM Air" Rodrigue Merhej, - "in a sum with existent flights from Ukraine, the frequency of flights to Iran from Kyiv, including "Mahan Air" and "UM Air", will make 6 flights in a week".
We will remind that "Mahan Air" is the largest Iranian airline founded in 1991. In 2015 by aircrafts of this company 5 millions 700 thousand passengers were transported. 6 thousand employees work in a company, flights accomplish 60 air ships. In particular, Airbus 340-600 flies to new direction. The national company "The Ukrainian-Mediterranean airlines", created in 1998, continuously accomplishes flights in the capital of Iran from 2002.
