April 10, at the Kiev Center "Maximum" was held charity event "Look at the world with a smile!" organized by the initiative group "Dar Yangola".
Show program for guests lasted throughout the day: there were Spring Fair, a lot of exciting workshops (pottery, polymer clay modeling, floral decor, flamenco, etc.), the moderator and original genre artists conducted games and contests for children and adults. In the evening for all participants was a great show made by theatre and comic buffoonery artists "HAPPYPEOPLE", Lana Merkulova, a group "Yarra", etc.
On this day, at a charity auction were sold souvenirs and children's crafts, gifts from the Centre "Maximum", certificates of children's club "Our expedition" and many more.
Collected funds were transferred to Children's Department of SCRM and Igor Skuybede, 13-year-old boy, who has been struggling with a deadly disease (leukemia). Anya Nutskovskaya, to whom the event was initially devoted, managed to raise funds on the eve and she successfully flew for the operation!
The event took place thanks to the participation of a large number of concerned people, PR-support of the action was provided by the PR-bureau "Dieslovo".
On the initiative group "Dar Yangola"("Gift of an Angel"):
The history of the group started with a help to little girl Dasha Evdokimova, who bravely struggled with a serious disease - leukemia.
A small brave girl Dasha helped thousands of hearts open for mercy, compassion and love, bringing together thousands of people from different countries and cities to help neighbour. Through the efforts of many caring there has been collected a sufficient sum for Dasha's treatment in Israel. But on July 18 Dasha died ... Even now, when she's not with us we possess Dasha’s Gift - indifference. And thanks to the Gift – Gift of an Angel, we will always choose LIFE and fight for it.
Today the group continues to help seriously ill children cope with their illness, providing material and moral support to children who need it.
EVERYONE, even a small contribution, combined with the other, becomes a significant aid to children in distress.
Monthly charity activities of the Action Team "Dar Yangola" in Kiev help to solve two important tasks: to attract public attention to children with cancer and raise funds for their treatment. Events are held with direct support of the Foundation "Hope and Believe" www.ucccf.com.
