PR-bureau "Dієslovo" acted as co-organizer and PR-partner of a Round table, initiated and conducted by the International Charitable Foundation "Health of the Ukrainian people", the Ukrainian health club, Ukrainian Medical Newspaper MOH "Your Health".

In summer, in the peak of the season, in Kyiv was held the round table "Sex and health of the Ukrainian nation. Medical aspects of the prevention of sexually transmitted infections", which was attended by 34 representatives of the medical and scientific communities, specialists government health profile of the Verkhovna Rada and specialized NGOs.

The round table was organized to preserve reproductive and sexual health of the nation and to overcome the negative trend in the epidemiological situation in the country.

The roundtable participants stressed the criticality of the situation in Ukraine, which is the spread of STIs is one of the highest in Europe. One reason for this situation is the lack of ordinary Ukrainians comprehensive objective information on the existence of effective methods not only planned, but also emergency prevention, ignorance about sexual health.

According to the results of the round table was passed a resolution calling for the unification of state institutions, pharmaceutical companies, charities, foundations, dealing with STDs in Ukraine to conduct joint social events and projects aimed at promoting effective methods of both planned and emergency prevention of infections.

Popularize methods of emergency prevention in cases of unprotected sex should be part of the social and educational campaign to fight for the health of the Ukrainian nation.
